Pickle the Pig by Brenden Bott is a cute and funny story. My grand daughter loved it. The illustrations are wonderful and add to the story. While there are a lot of illustrations compared to words, it allowed my grand daughter to use her imagination and fill in those pages with her own ideas. There was some explaining to do at the end, but even that was a fun learning process. I would recommend this to readers that are learning and to parents that are willing to approach some of the uncomfortable parts of life in a fun way.
